The Senior Engineer, DevOps and Quality will be responsible for cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and application environments. This includes the continuous implementation of DevOps principles and tooling for system performance, scalability, reliability and fault tolerance.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Create a DevOps framework, including CI/CD capabilities, Configuration Management, and Source Code Management
• Support, develop, enhance, and maintain our cloud infrastructure for high availability and scale
• Configuring and integrating with third-party services; manage developer and administrator accounts including on-boarding and off-boarding
• Responsible for data backup integrity and failover / fallback strategies
• Optimize server configuration and network architecture
• Frequently, run performance testing, identify potential performance issues and help the team find a resolution
• Ownership of the cloud-based products and services you build understand and continuously be aware of data security requirements of our various data sources (e.g. analytics services, IoT events data, etc.)
• Help automate continuous integration using tools like Jenkins and Bamboo
• Develop/Enhance complex data driven Automation framework to support Device Software, Cloud modules, UI and API testing
• Collaborates with the Automation Staff Engineer and other team members to continuously refactor and improve automation framework for reusability and speed
• You can understand system architecture, design, implementation and succinctly develop the automation strategy to deliver high-quality results
• SCM support: branch management, setting up processes and policies
• Managing build systems: Monitor health of builds, root cause analysis of failed unit tests, automated any outliers to improve continuous integration, discover/understand/eliminate bottles
• Lead technology initiatives that drive scalability and reliability

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent prior work experience and training required
• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer, preferably on SaaS engineering team
• 3+ years of developing software using agile methods
• Require extensive experience with AWS services including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, Route 53, CodeDeploy, SQS, SNS, and SES
• Require experience using infrastructure as code tools like AWS CloudFormation / configuration management tools like Packer and Chef
• Require strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Require experience with Docker and Continuous Integration Tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo
• Essential to have firm grasp of the web stack protocols / technologies (e.g., headers, caching, WebSockets, IP/TCP/HTTP(S), SSL/TLS, CDNs, DNS, proxies)
• Essential to have experience administrating via shells using BASH/PowerShell scripting
• Essential to have experience building and operating distributed / large scale systems
• Require Good understanding and experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment tools (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, Maven)
• Prefer experience in Configuration Management tools Chef or Puppet
• Require experience in SCM tools (SVN, Git) - Branching Strategy, Merging, Pull Requests etc.
• Essential to have Experience in Apache, Nginx, Jboss and Tomcat
• Prefer experience with monitoring and logging tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, Zabbix and Nagios
• Require experience with AWS: Building a highly available and scalable stack (VPC, EC2, ELB, IAM, Route53, DynamoDB, ECS, CloudWatch) or a similar IAAS product from Azure or GCP
• Essential to have hands-on understanding of Terraform, Ansible, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Packer, Elasticsearch, Memcache
• Require demonstrated knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile development process.
• Require Knowledge of CI tools like Jenkins or CircleCI
• Prefer to have excellent knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, UFT (Formerly QTP), Telerik, Visual Studio Coded UI, SOAPUI, Fiddler, Firebug
• Require solid experience in Atlassian tool integration: JIRA, bitbucket, crucible/fisheye, confluence, and Jenkins
• Require experience with Virtual machines, Docket container and micro-services technology
• Essential to have Skills to build smart, efficient automation using Python, Ruby and Bash
