Our client was founded by technology veterans who wanted to help organizations manage and conserve water. Internet of Things solutions range from smart irrigation products that determine the minimum amount of water needed for landscape to thrive to detection and monitoring products that immediately alert users if a leak or break has occurred and are used by 9 of the 10 largest high-tech organizations, 7 of the 10 largest real estate companies, 4 of the 5 largest big box retailers, and over 200 municipalities and school districts.

The position is based in Petaluma, CA. The Sales Development Representative is an inside sales role working full time at the Petaluma headquarters, reporting to the Director of Inside Sales.. The primary responsibilities are to conduct phone and email outreach for channel partners providing information and/or identifying sales opportunities for hand off to the outside sales and business development teams.

This requires a high volume of daily calls and emails. You will be calling marketing driven leads and fielding incoming requests from Landscape management companies, Distributors, Irrigation Techs and Specifier Architects nationally.

What You'll Be Doing:

Research and data entry
Sales CRM data management (Salesforce)
Conduct daily calls to Marketing Qualified Leads
Qualify and validate prospect interest solutions
Manage follow up data from calls, provide pricing and quotes
Maintain prospect relationships until sales ready
Coordinate and schedule meetings for outside sales

What We're Looking For:

B.A. degree
1+ years of experience in inside sales, account management or customer service
Excellent web and phone skills
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Salesforce or related CRM Experience
Excellent communication skills
Energetic, self-starting, well organized
An excellent problem solver, motivated and able to work semi-autonomously.

Compensation range - $40K-$48K(base), plus bonus potential
Complete health benefits, participation in company stock option plan, PTO and holiday pay, 401K
